About this walk
On the outskirts of Albury on the banks of the Murray River, Wonga Wetlands are home to an abundance of native flora and fauna, a Wiradjuri campsite, an indigenous scar tree and ancient river red gums.
The wetlands consist of seven lagoons with a 2.5km walking circuit meandering throughout and linking a number of bird hides.
Children will love hiding in the bird hides, discovering the Wiradjuri campsite and spotting tadpoles. The lagoons offer a range of areas perfect for a picnic.
