About this walk
Birdsland Reserve is ideal for a pram walk. Kids love this spot with wide open paths to practice walking or older siblings on bikes.
The blend of farmland and bushland give a sense of rural living close to the suburbs. There are ducks on the lakes and the creek is home to the elusive Platypus.
Drive through the gates off McNichol Rd to the parking area. Birdsland Reserve opens at 7.30 am daily. Closing times vary seasonally – please check signs at the park entrance for closing time. The reserve is closed on days of Total Fire Ban.
The track is easy with no need for a map.
