About this walk

Balcombe Creek Boardwalk

The Balcombe Creek Boardwalk in Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula is an environmentally and culturally significant wetland sanctuary. This estuary system provides habitat and protection to a wide range of wildlife and is perfect for a pram-friendly walk.

The traditional owners, the Boonerwrung, call this estuary Tji’tjin’garook or the “voice of frogs.” The boardwalk is impressive in both length and quality, offering several opportunities to view the creek and spot wildlife along the way. You can also continue your walk into The Briars by going under the Nepean Highway on a walking track.

Pram Walks welcomes everyone to add a walk to our site. Fill in the form and we’ll publish your walk.
