About this walk
Panboola wetlands is located on the southern edge of Pambula village. Sealed walking paths on level ground make it an easy place for prams, bikes, walkers and runners. This community conservation site offers a range of walking distances on a level surface that makes is great (and safe) for kids on bikes. The Old Pambula Racecourse is a firm gravel surface (1700mt around) that has recently been upgraded to make it easy for prams and bikes to use.
Plenty of nature to see – lots of birds and kangaroos abound. Easy parking at Waton’s Waterhole or opposite the Oaklands tourist complex (cafe, brewery and nursery)
Note that dogs on leads are only permitted in certain areas – no going through gates into conservation areas
