About this walk
The Lilly Pilly Nature Walk is in Wilsons Promontory National Park, Gippsland, Victoria.
Wilsons Promontory is a popular destination for nature lovers with spectacular landscapes, coastal wilderness and diverse flora and fauna. ‘The Prom’ is a pristine environment approximately 3 hours drive from Melbourne.
Accommodation facilities, including camping, are available at the main visitor hub of Tidal River. A visitor centre, small general store and takeaway outlet are also available here. Wilsons Promontory is the perfect place for a family holiday.
The Lilly Pilly Nature Walk can be accessed by car on the Wilsons Promontory Rd or on foot from Tidal River via the Link Track.
Lilly Pilly Walk is an easy walk through coastal heathland and eucalyptus forest. The track surface is compacted sand which suits prams. The walk is approx. 2.1 km one way, with an additional 600m of boardwalk meandering through warm temperate rainforest and fern gullies. Return the same way.
Please note: The circuit walk beyond the boardwalk is not suitable for prams.
Interpretive signs add interest to the walk.
