About this walk
Located on the outskirts of Albury on the banks of the Murray River, Wonga Wetlands are home to an abundance of native flora and fauna, including ancient river red gums.
The wetlands consist of seven lagoons with a 2.5km walking circuit meandering throughout and linking a number of bird hides.
Children will love hiding in the bird hides, discovering the Wiradjuri campsite and spotting tadpoles. The lagoons offer a range of areas perfect for a picnic.
