“Kaurna Wetlands is a 48-hectare wonderland hidden in the suburb of Burton, only 22kms from Adelaide.
The Wodliparri Trail, the local Kaurna name for the Milky Way, is a winding path with a series of boardwalks leading through diverse vegetation. It’s a wide, firm path ideal for prams and in some areas suitable for two prams side by side (or a double!). The Trail circles the wetlands for 2.7 km with a shorter option through the middle.
Kaurna Wetlands offers a unique opportunity to introduce small kids to the natural world close to suburbia. Diverse bird species call these wetlands home with up to 116 species either living or visiting here.
Car parking is available and the Woolworths Springbank Plaza is adjacent.”
