About this walk
The Great Southern Rail Trail is perfect for a pram walk. The wide and compacted gravel path makes walking easy. This section of the Rail Trail gentle undulates through farmland, lowland forest and past wetlands.
Park at the Horticultural Park in Leongatha where you’ll find a small playground and picnic tables.
Walk as far as you like. Koonwarra is approximately 8kms away with a café and toilets.
The entire Great Southern Rail Trail is approximately 72kms long – from Leongatha to Port Welshpool.
