O’Grady’s Falls, SW of Hobart, is a picturesque short walk through pristine forest on the lower slopes of Mount Wellington. The undulating track will reward you with views of a charming waterfall.

Highlights of the walk include; views of the Organ Pipes and the summit of Mount Wellington, stunning wildflower displays in the warmer months and plenty of opportunities to see wildlife.

The walk to O’Grady’s Falls is through open bushland. However, at the waterfall enjoy the freshness of lush ferns and mosses in this gorgeous setting.

Access Wellington Park  by car. Head to Fern Tree and Mount Wellington on Huon Rd. Turn right into Pinnacle Rd just before the township of Fern Tree then right into Bracken Lane.
Start your walk at the barrier on the Bracken Lane fire trail. Take the left-hand track at a fork toward the Organ Pipes. At another junction take the central Betts Vale Track to reach O’Grady’s Falls. Return the same way.
