Iluka Rainforest Walk is an incredibly beautiful walk through rainforest on the NSW North Coast. The rainforest is World Heritage Listed and a wonderful place to take children of all ages and abilities for a walk.
The forest is alive with birds including the distinctive whipbird which delights young children. Huge elk ferns cling to the trees, strangler figs envelop their hosts and vines loop through the forest canopy. (I challenge you to not – at least once – do a Tarzan call)
The walk can be accessed from the township or the Iluka Bluff Picnic Area where there is a wheelchair “drop zone” to access the walk.
