About this walk
Inverloch is a popular seaside town on the Gippsland coastline in Victoria and is a popular family playground – especially through summer and school holidays.
Inverloch Foreshore has a shared, paved pathway that weaves along the beach with views of Andersons Inlet and Point Smythe. The path extends from Cutriss Street near the Big 4 to the Ayr Street bridge. The full walk is approximately 5km return. Exercise stations are dotted along the path. There are a couple of slight undualtions along the track, but will be easily negotiated by young kids on bikes.
Access the beach from several points along the walk.
The paved pathway runs through Rainbow Park playground and picnic/BBQ area. You’ll have access to the township of Inverloch and the educational Bunurong Environment Centre. Visit the shell museum (with one of the world’s largest collections) or join a dig at a dinosaur fossil site.
