Serendip Sanctuary is a protected open grassy woodlands and wetland in Lara – only 50 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD.
Wildlife abounds – Emus and Eastern Grey Kangaroos laze on open plains and approx 150 bird species use the sanctuary as a breeding ground or home.
Serendip Sanctuary has four interconnecting nature trails with the Wildlife Walk popular for the close proximity of animals and birds, with viewing platforms and bird hides.

Open 10am to 4pm every day except for Christmas Day and Good Friday.
