Herring Island is a little known island in the middle of the Yarra River, only 3km from Melbourne’s’ CBD.
Herring Island is a vital ecological resources that provides inner city habitat for indigenous fauna. The island boasts a series of environmental sculptures created from natural materials, based on the history and landscape of the island.
